Overview
Tinaroo Haven Holiday lodge is centrally located and consists of a high level pole house (Al's look-out) and a timber home (Percys Hide-Away). The two houses, although next door to each other, are separated by a covered walkway and each have their own private entrances, verandahs and entertainment areas. The property has been designed to provide views of the surrounding mountains, and is hidden away in a secluded area of 2.5 acres of native bushland. The accommodation is fully self contained with all amenities and is suitable for single families, couples or large groups.

*Over 150 varieties of native birds ranging from the tiny Fire Tail Finch to Australia's largest raptor, the Wedge Tail Eagle frequent the area in the immediate vicinity of the property.

*Native flowering trees which have been planted on the property serves as an added attraction to the many nectar eating birds and other wildlife.

Check in time is after 14h00 and check out before 10h00 unless special arrangements have been made.
Children and Extra Guests Details
Additonal Adults are charged out at $31.50 per adult per night.
Children under 13 are charged out at $16.00 per child per night.
Infants 0-2 are not charged.
Car Parking Details
Parking available on the property outside the lodge for your vehicles. There is also space to park and turn a boat on the property.
Travel Directions
After you arrive in Atherton, go through the roundabout & up past McDonalds Restaurant, drive down the Main Street through the shopping centre, until you get to the roundabout at the RSL (on your right). Turn Right here, up the hill past Woolworths shopping Centre and go to the 'T' intersection at the top of the hill, where you turn left. Follow the road around, past the High School until you reach the Kairi turnoff and take this road to the Dam. Follow this road to Kairi go past the Kairi Hotel and store. After you pass the school the road continues around to the left and is signposted to Tinaroo Dam. This is the start of a long straight. Proceed about 2.5 km along that straight. When you reach the top of the hill at the end of the straight, turn right into Malcolm Road. Off Malcolm Road, you will find Bluewater Drive turn left into Blue Water Drive. Towards the bottom of Bluewater Drive you will see, Wavell Drive. Turn left into Wavell Drive. Tinaroo Haven Holiday Lodge's driveway is straight in front of you at the end of Wavell Drive Number 42. When you have entered the main gates, proceed straight up the driveway and and past the caretakers house (don't take the first left turn you come to) and park under or in front of Tinaroo Haven Holiday lodge. If you are arriving late at night, please take care for wallabies when you enter Malcolm Road as this area is their "playing field" at night.

For those who enjoy fishing for the local Barramundi or setting up a Red Claw trap, Lake Tinaroo is a fisherman's paradise and only 200 metres from your front door.
If you prefer outdoor water sports, Lake Tinaroo offers skiing, yachting, windsurfing and boating.
30 Minutes drive time allows you to visit the Lakes Eacham and Barrine, Yungaburra, Atherton, Mt Uncle Winery, Golden Drop Distillery and the giant Curtain Fig Tree. There are also Coffee Plantations with tasting facilities in and around Mareeba.
Should you wish to venture further, a drive of under 60 minutes will take you to Ravenshoe, Millstream Falls, Granite Gorge, Malanda Falls, Millaa Millaa falls and Kuranda, which offers scenic railway trips, Skyrail, Rainforest Tours, Birdworld, Koala Gardens, Butterfly Sanctuary and the unique Kuranda markets.
A little over a 60 minute drive will see you in Cairns, Innisfail, Paronella Park and the Undara Lava Tubes.
